You can hold CTRL to draw over the blocks you'd like to select.
Oh wow, yeah I didn't realise that at all, that works pretty well! I don't see it mentioned anywhere though, not even in the docs?
Yeah sorry, I'll have to really create better documentation and tutorial videos - absolutely not your fault. I'm also planning to add a more classic rectangle drag and select later on.
