Hello rit2040, this game project looks wonderfull ! I'm just amazed of the cleanliness of the design overall. I would love to collaborate and team up with you as music composer of the game, really. I have 2 musical projects beside my future work as a piano teacher.

ps: I found your work on UE forum.

Hope to see you soon.

Hello Raquold,

I'm glad you are interested in the game and genuinely love my work! :3

I visited and listened to some of the video clips in your channels, (namely, Ryan Kenneth Sukkar, SAMSāRA TILL NEVER Official, End Push Off, I hope I didn't get it wrong). Not a musician myself, I feel your work embeds a strong personality through the rhythm of the music, it's quite interesting to hear, however, the genre of the music didn't seem to fit the overall feeling of the game. I was looking for something more inclined to the light-modern-pop music genre. Here are some links to the sample musics I've gathered so far that fit the mood I wanted to achieve:

Hope these music samples could give you an idea of what I am looking for.

The game currently is still in mid development - far from finished - which means a change of mood or overall style may (or may not) occur in the future. Since there are still some undecided aspects of the game, I think now is probably not a good time to consider a collaboration for music composing. I hope you can understand my concern.

Thank you again for approaching me with a genuine and honest gesture. =)

I wish you a productive weekday and all the best with your career.

P.S. I received a subscription request from my UE4 account, but when I press accept, I get a 403 error. I'll try to figure out this issue later today, sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi rit2040,

Thanks for answering me . I understand that music composing ideas are made at the end of game developpement process, but if you're still willing to collaborate with me, I can comply with the style desired.

Those music I sent you were part of my personnal project to show you my work as musician/composer. I'm really willing to do my best to fit the ambiance aimed for the game. :)

Hello Raquold,

The schedule for this project is to complete the last level around October 2020 - depending on my development speed, it could delay one or two months, however, it's safe to assume the project will reach its alpha version before the end of 2020.

If things go as planned, the project will undergo a series of beta testing and tweaking during the first quarter of 2021 - which I believe at that time, the game will have a definite style and theme - I think it will be an appropriate timing for me to add ambient / theme music into the game. You could contact me then, that is, if you are still interested in joining the project.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you a confirmation for collaboration right now, however, I think we could keep in touch, if you have anything you found may suit the game's atmosphere (even just a 15~30 seconds music clip), I'm willing to give it a try and see how things go.

Thank you again for your interest and I wish you all the best in your career. =)

Hello rit2040,

Let's keep in touch, I'm willing to give it a try as music coposer for 《Drifting》.Here is a 2 minutes demo loop I made after listening to your samples:

Wish you the best. :)

Hello Raquold,

The main theme of the music you've composed did suit the project quite well, the fact that you could come up with it in such a short time left me quite impressed.

I would like to know more about how you could improve upon it further, given time and resources.

This is my e-mail address: rit2040@gmail.com

It's probably better if we take the discussion to a private channel, instead of the comment section. Feel free to leave your e-mail or send me a mail so we could discuss it further! :)

Looking forward to your e-mail!
