I much prefer the mouse controls, thanks for doing this.

Of the games I've tested you are the winner in terms of visuals and audio. Mood is very hard to rate but I'm happy to say you are equal top for that also. I have another that wins in terms of gameplay but its a very different type of game.

All I can say is that if you plan to commercialise this and want more help to do so I would be happy to put my hand up straight away.
I would love to work with a team doing this level of work.

With most every comment asking for it, we felt it necessary to include mouse controls for everyone to enjoy our game.

What is the other game you feel also wins in gameplay? We'd love to check it out! We've enjoyed looking at the other entries to see what other have come up with.

https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-community-jam/rate/658251 is my favourite for gameplay so far, its the one I've been annoying my family to try

https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-community-jam/rate/631273 this one is second for now - I love how the game expands as you interact with it

One silly idea I've had for yours is that the farmers family appear near the top of the screen each daytime, and depending on how you have progressed that cycle they either look more or less happy, if you are adding more chickens they do a dance and wear nicer clothes, otherwise they mope around with torn clothes, a feedback to the player to keep going, a progression if you will.

Whilst playing I thought that after I got down to one chicken and then voila I created a second one there was no real reward for doing so.

I'm not talking about things that should be there for a Jam though of course, but things to make it a commercial product. The other two games need polish or more content, but what they did in gameplay is a rough diamond.
