The art is really impressive I just wish you could have the option to use WASD instead of the Arrow keys.

At the moment there is a lock function that gets called only when the player has stopped trying to move the piece for a set amount of time.
I could definitely look at adding a second condition to prevent exploiting that and I agree it's worth considering.

Then again, I'm considering a hard mode that unlocks after you register a certain minimum score.
In hard mode I'd probably remove this "slide" feature altogether.

Something to ponder over the next week.

Was the omission of being able to view the next piece that will become available a design decision? 
It was because I thought it was making the game too easy, but I'm planning to add a hard mode and the view next piece feature after the jam.

Trust me, I had to use the Last Stand feature a Lot :)

Fair enough, thanks for playing for that long.
It's the first time in my 9 or 10 jams that I've seen the request to make a game harder, its usually the opposite and I think I erred too much that way, I'll fix it post jam with a hard mode :)

Hi, the droprate of the pieces increases 3 times, at scores of 300, 600 and 900, but yeh it needs a hard mode :)

Really enjoyed this one after I worked out what I was doing.

Loved it, watched Metalstorm play then had to try.

Got a bit overwhelmed but thats ok. Great game.

Huge amount of work done, well done.

There is a lot to like here, but I want to focus on the thing I didn't like.

Please make the trigger colliders for the doors larger so you don't have to get so close to them, or even better remove the need to hit E at all for doors that will open. I think that would be a significant improvement to the fun.

But overall I can see the huge amount of work done, very cool.

Kept getting my arse kicked, I think the animations felt a bit too slow early on, can see a lot of work in this though so appreciate the effort.

These things are very subjective, but this really worked for me.
