I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

The graphics. They're bad, but I like them anyway.

What I didn't like

The artificial difficulty via trolling. I don't like this in general, not just in this game specifically.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

Not really. On the surface, it's an ugly, broken, cruel platformer. If there are hidden depths, I haven't found them. In my mind that's just not so bad it's good on its own.

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

I'm not a fan of ridiculously hard games in general. I'd preferred to have seen a more creative interpretation.

Other remarks

I was never able to pass the first level.

Verdict

A brutally hard platformer. Not my thing, and not so bad it's good in my opinion.

I get all of your troubles with it. I did a platformer game because I hadn't done one before, and I will change a lot of the things you've said in the future. I would have made the tutorial level shorter, but I didn't have enough time because of school :(
