You gain points and stat upgrades by walking through the yin on yang dot in the symbol. The enemies also get harder the more levels you complete. In the bottom left corner theres a Karma meter. You need to go through yin og yang if you have to much yin or too much yang your karma will be unbalanced and you will turn into a Snake in one of your reincarnations.
