amazing! Great visual polish, really impressed with it for such a short jam ๐Ÿ˜ hexes work really well for breakout lol. The upgrades were a nice bonus, too! Music fit really well, art style is lovely and cohesive. My only minor issue was that my bee bounced off a hex at a REALLY shallow angle, so I had to wait ages for it to come down the screen - the hexes moving down actually outpaced it in the end ๐Ÿ˜… if you were to carry it on as a full project, I'd clamp that angle to a range. But for a 9 hour jam, that's totally forgivable ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks! :) We're really happy with how it turned out!

The bees do have Y velocity stall protection (if close to zero it gives a negative impulse), but when to apply it is really tricky - can't have it acting up and making you miss that perfect shot.

The paddle itself has an ExitAngle clamp so you can get that sweet last second save though!

damn you managed to put in those quality of life improvements in a 9 hour jam? That's awesome!! I thought it felt good to play.

Check the first timelapse heh - I think those are literally the first 2 or 3 features that went in there!   Not our first rodeo/jam heh.   Exit Angle for paddle even has gizmos for adjustment and auto-scales to the bounds of the collider.
