Looks interesting, but I'm not able to play it.
In your .zip file you have a folder called GMTK[...]_data which has to be renamed to Defiance_data for the game to even launch. Other than that the screen that tells you how to play doesn't scale to the window size so you can't start a game. If you'll somehow be able to fix it I'd be really glad to try it out but right now it's impossible :(
