So on the beach, you have 60 seconds to pick cards, "salvage". Each card has two sides - an Ocean (blue) and a Flotilla (orange) side, you can flip them with your right mouse button. Drag a Flotilla card down to your hand to select it, or an Ocean card up to 'give' it to the Ocean. Any cards you don't pick within the time limit are assigned randomly, as are any remaining cards once you or the ocean have 4 cards in hand. After that they are played in random order. So you have control over the draft phase (getting cards) but not the play stage. The goal is to keep your 4 stats above 0 until day 8!
