Thank you so much! I completely agree.
The initial idea of the coffee mechanic was to make it into a puzzle platformer of sorts . It would tie in more with the gameplay and the different levels of coffee would have a greater impact on how the game and all of it's elements worked than just slowing you down. The mechanic was rushed and if I am to keep it, in future versions I'll definitely need to refer back to the drawing board to get it to feel less arbitrary and more fun.
I'm honestly just happy that I was able to get the game into a playable state before the deadline and I'm glad you enjoyed the level.
