The interesting/unique aspect of the game, is unfortunately not communicated well to the player. At first I thought that the visible variables on the title screen were there by error. Then I thought the required strategy for when losing control was to find a well protected, quiet corner while you can't move. When I read the description to see if that was correct, I realised I was supposed to program my own AI. A couple of problems there: I'm not a programmer and also the interface was not all visible.

Working out how to get this to work seemed like less fun that playing and rating the next jam game. Sorry!

The part of the game where I have control was a lot of fun, and seemed well polished. The variety of enemies was good, and their behaviour was varied between types, but predictable for each type. In my view, your innovation gets in the way of my ability to enjoy your game, rather than enhancing the experience. Hopefully someone with better understanding of AI programming would think differently.

Good effort, thanks for making the game!
