Ok I'm trying not to be mean. The idea sounds like it has potential. But I think it was probably too ambitious for a 48 hour game jam. Still that's how these things go. Next time I would ask yourself: "what is the primary gameplay loop?" ie what is the player doing from moment to moment and how are you going to keep them engaged? 

yeah, this was my first jam. its really bad. i spent 36 hours engrossed in making the terrain gen, then looked at my clock and was like Aaahhhh!
