Interesting character writing, setting, original use of the theme... Yep, it feels good! As others said, a bit of music (or maybe atmospheric SFX?) and UI sounds would add to the whole thing. It really seem to be the kind of game that could rely a lot on its atmosphere to work!
In any case, I like it and hope that your lil' project will be featured as one of the finalists.
