Way too unforgiving for my taste, but I really like the idea. I’ve managed to get to the fifth checkpoint before giving up. I think if you want the player to keep moving, you need to give them more control - right now the turn rate is way too slow to be able to evade most obstacles. Most of the time I just resorted to restarting from the last checkpoint and hoping the obstacle will be in the right position for me to pass through.
A simple idea, but a really nice one. I can easily see this expanded into a full game and I’d definitely give it a try. ;)
