Oh, apparently I can go faster by running in diagonals! :P

The main mechanic is interesting, but doesn't pay off in the game. The different actions are not balanced enough. Most of the time I lose because I can't move anymore, and when the attack is locked the best solution is mostly to flee. As for the dash, having it removed has no big impact, since it's mostly "the attack do do when you can't use the regular one".

Still, the art is quite beautiful, especially for a jam game! And despite having flaws, it still plays really well and procures a bit of fun! Even if I'm not a fan of the "unusable mechanic" idea, it's still a nice game! :)

Thank you! Sadly, our dev left us mid jam, we recovered the gameplay as best as we could. There were many ideas ready to be implemented, unfortunately.

Oof, losing a team member during a jam makes thing quite complicated indeed (especially when it's a dev). It's really cool that you were still able to make it! =D
