Haha, well it seems like the enemy spawns increase exponentially, so once I had railgun as my final weapon I just stayed away from spawn locations and cleared the screen on cooldown. Once it got to the point that I literally couldn't dodge enemy attacks because there were so many, I just went to the middle of the map and the on-hit explosion wiped the map clean until I died, giving me tons of points.
