I'm with the other commenters on making the switch between songs less jarring. I believe Unity has support for Twine imports -- then you could use the AudioSource functions to fade different sounds in and out as the story requires. Given how light the gameplay is (from a code perspective), you could get really out there with the soundscape if you wanted to.

As it's my first ever game, I'm pretty proud. I'm primarily a composer and writer (the music is mine), so I'm definitely going to look into smoother ways of implementing these things - your time is appreciated!
