Mana can be regained by selecting healing and consume and then holding shift. You'll know you did it right when a magic circle appears behind you and your cloak turns green. Enemies cannot be killed with the attack spell which electrifys them. The intended way to kill enemies is with the heal others spell (healing+emit). This was supposed to be a callback to class fantasy where one would heal the undead to get rid of them.
