The Intel 82489DX Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller was an important milestone in computing and I was excited to finally see it have some recognition in media. When I played the game and found it was not even mentioned I was sorely disappointed...
In all seriousness, I didn't have the patience to finish this game, but it was an interesting entry all around. I wasn't expecting to see an RPG Maker game, but here it is and it fits well.
It started with compile errors, which is always a good sign.
The music is both annoying and creepy, and the single sound effect seemingly used for everything is extremely creepy and cursed. The graphics, similarly, sometimes have appeal but are for the most part strange and ugly.
The gameplay itself is straightforward, but I think generates enough frustration through sheer tedium to qualify for this jam.
