Yes, feel free to work on a GBA version, I would love to see it.

Actually, win98 was my main source of inspiration for making GB_OS. I haven’t used win95 until a couple months after this came out.

Thanks for the comment, btw.

Thanks, I appreciate your comment. well, It took some time to figure out the calculator, but after I did, the rest was easy.

I’ve never used a MAC computer, so maybe in the future. I’ve thinking about making one of Windows 2 though.

Thanks!

I checked Pico8 already, even though I never got myself into it.

I did use GB Studio for this project and it is incredibly easy to learn, since it uses drag and drop programing.

I’m really glad you like it and appreciate your feedback. About the sound, GB Studio requires a third-party program for it and I just didn’t feel like installing it (the vast majority of GB Studio games don’t have sound, either).

Even though I could have made the whole thing bigger and more complex, I didn’t feel it was needed, plus I had a deadline.

Yeah, if you put the ROM on a flashcard, it’ll work.

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you liked it. ^^

Thanks so much for the comment!

In high school, I had classes teaching how operating systems worked on deeper levels, and since then, the idea of making my own has been hammering my mind. It was originally supposed to be made for the Atari 2600 but I figured that the Gameboy would be a much more fair choice.

Thanks! :)

Ok, so mine cannot be considered a game since it has no clear objective, so take it as ‘Windows 95 / 98 if it was released for Gameboy / Gameboy Color’. I made crazy progress thanks to the jam. It still needs some fine-tuning and more features, but most of the planned stuff is already done.

I did’t know that the sound/music were creepy, it’s just Final Fantasy music, after-all. Thank you for the review, though.
