I can't pretend I've beaten your game (fuck that lake of acid!), but my god its an absolute looker. You / your artists got mad talent. Especially if you made all those assets truly over the last week. I also wanna voice my appreciation  for having an actual narrative, which tends to be the first thing to get the axe in a lot of these gamejam projects I feel.

I think there is a lot of potential here, with some sound effects, some better feedback on hits and some less punishing platforming, I totally see myself playing this "properly".

Oh, and I'm in love with your character design.

Omg thank you! I appreciate you feedback so much! I did the game all by myself. Coding took me about 5 days, so I wish I had more time to fix more of these issues you mentioned.  I wanted to integrate checkpoints, so the hard parts wouldn't feel as punishing as they do. I'm so happy you like my art and story, because that's my profession! Thanks for playing and commenting on my game! I'm trying to fix them later on and update the game. Maybe you wanna check this out in the future.

I will definately keep an eye on this, the setting got me hooked.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what programm do you do your illustrations in?

Awww! Definetly a motivation boost! I vary between several programms depending on what device I am using atm. So its more about the brushes I think. I always recreate my feelgood ones to every programm. (Well actually I use the standart full opacity brush with pressure sensitivity and smooth smudge everything together, but like the good smudge not the one Photoshop has). To answer your question though I used mostly Procreate for the painted parts and Photoshop for the geometry stuff. Animation was made with Spine Esoteric Software.

Thanks for sharing! Appreciated.
