A very nice concept! A few suggestions:

You can merge the tutorial with the easy mode
It would help to have a [I’m ready] button so that the player doesn’t have to wait for the end of the time period

Good ideas! alot of people recomended the "im ready" / skip button, and i really should add it in a post jam version
