Hey lisyarus, here are my thoughts about your game:

  • I loooooved the fact that you could destroy the environment. That made the game for me. It made it easier to navigate, but harder because more enemies come swarming in.
  • As you mentioned, the controls are hard. If this is intended, great job. Otherwise, I would make sure the player does not 'glide' constantly.
  • It is nice you get more bullets when you level up. It creates more devestation which has its pro's and con's. (my first point)
  • There also was no audio for me, maybe it was my computer but I could not give any feedback on that.
  • It would be nice to make the player stand out more so you know faster where you are located on the screen. Sometimes, I got confused and thought I was an enemy ;)
  • Also, when you export the game. Place everyting in a folder before zipping it. That way the files are not scattered all over the place when unzipping it :)

Nice chaotic game, I am a fan of those. It felt like a fast paced game of 'Asteroids'. Good submission

Thank you for detailed feedback! Yep, the movements & terrain collision are intended - I tried many variations and eventually settled on these so that the game remains a bit challenging. There is indeed no audio, didn’t have time for that, will definitely add after the jam. I’ll try to make the ship stand out more, thank you for suggestion :) Considering the archive - most archive software decompress XXX.zip into an XXX folder by default, so I usually do it this way.

Ok, maybe my download file is just too cluttered with games now what made it difficult for me to find ;) No worries then :)
