bitl released a fix for the movement bug for 2009 and 2010

replace the default settings with these then delete 2009 and 2010's settings files
if it doesn't apply, rename the 2010 xml to globalsettings.xml and copy it to %localappdata%/Roblox
Can't seem to get it to work, I've deleted everything in the local app data folder then dropping the xml files, trying GlobalSettings.xml, GlobalSettings_4.xml, several combinations, nothing.
I would've never known the fix would exist for one main reason: I'm not in any Novetus related discord servers.
Something happened back in April and I've refused to rejoin since.
I don't want to try either.
I've attempted mostly every combination with the files I could.

I run a 64 bit version of Windows 8.1
I use Novetus 1.2 (full stable)z
