They're talking about mobile, which would require either patching a client that's barely archived, barely cared about and barely patchable, or trying to backport a type of file a phone is beyond uncapable of handling.

Most modpacks can be removed by just removing their original files.

Radmin doesn't even make a new IP out of thin air, it just forces everybody in a party and fakes a LAN connection.

Play solo itself also breaks a few maps, such as some maps that use leaderboards or other systems. If you really wanted to play alone, it's more reliable and accurate.

Host a private server on a random port and join yourself via localhost.

Install the VC C++ redistributables. There's a launcher if you don't know what you're doing.

Honestly, 2007-2009 is just very clunky, it's probably not fixable. As a few people have tested, even the Physics can barely be handled on 2007 and that was proved on a literal RTX card on a Windows system.

The SDK is a bunch of tools that help you make content for Novetus. I've only ever used the Client SDK, so my word won't be much.

Just be careful, the SDK will be a learning curve if you've never done anything for Novetus before. I often got stuck trying to figure out arguments because I never properly worked with it. It *will* be difficult at first.

Also, the client has 2021 and 2017 modification dates in the textures folder. Either it's modified 2007 or 2008.
And BEFORE I hear about the DLLS having 2006 modification dates, that doesn't mean nothing when everything else is 2021. If a game had all of it's DLLs from 2002, but the game data was 2022, was the game developed as early as 2002, or is it really a 2022 game?

Yeah, the exe name matches what Mason was going for, but there's another EXE that literally gives away 2005 being a recreation.
As for 2006, I doubt 2006 is even found yet.
Although, I will add, I think 2007 is also fake as I remember seeing it before and the client seemed more like 2008.

Because none of them are designed to work with Novetus. It's the bare clients with no modifications, which does NOTHING.

That's essentially dependant on what it's suppposed to do. It could be as easy as putting it in a folder, to replacing a lot of client folders.

What specifically are you trying to install? It depends from mod to mod.

For my expansion, you have to install it manually instead of in the launcher. Open the zip, drag the clients and map folders into your Novetus install, and that's it.

ID=15  is caused by so many things that you have to fact check that seeing somebody complain about it is actually exausting.

Then don't download it. It's not like your school needs you to play Novetus to get an education.
Honestly, if you really have to ask a community to back-up a file that could easily be backdoored, then you might as well ask a van if it has candy in it. 

The launcher is open source, you can see *exactly* what it's doing if you know how to read Visual Basic. The file has been scanned in VirusTotal, and has been scanned in thousands of antiviruses, which can give you a good idea of how many false positives it's going to get. There's a discord server, if you ever have issues you can always go there.

If you like the idea but want to avoid at least a few risks, get a Windows 10 virtual machine or something and download the file through it. Sandboxing tools exist if you have a computer from the 1700s for whatever reason. XP Mode for Windows 7! This is all stuff you can do if you are really paranoid if something will suddenly delete your whole computer.

I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to help it make sense. You won't be arrested for not downloading Novetus, the police won't be knocking at your door, your school won't make fun of you. It's a choice you can make.
I've tried whatever I can to make it make sense. I've used this project for a while, and it's done nothing.
If you think I'm lying, don't download anything off the internet. It's as easy as that.

Somebody who's been around for 2 years here. Novetus has never infected my computer. It's caused some compatibility issues because I don't have an XP computer laying around, but it never did anything to my data. The most it probably did was not fullscreen properly and cause some mouse tracking issues that took alt tabbing a few more times to get out of the way.

Here's an official Virustotal scan, made by the project owner himself. It's fine, if you can't bring yourself to download a revival, then don't. Seriously, not that hard.
