Cool Little arcade game you have there!
My complains:
the enemies feels like the enemies so i could touch them
could use a little screen shake every time i take damage
floaty jumps!
Other than that, great job :)

The screen shake is a very good idea, I might try it! And I do want to make the player less floaty
