The levels are really polished. The graphics are  very good and the music matches the atmosphere perfectly. Overall a very well executed game which leaves me with not much to say...

However, I will nitpick, because that's what we are here for :)

  • The obvious one is lack of menu or introduction, but I didn't really care so I won't say more about it.
  • I think that the different styles of floors didn't bring any value, and actually distracted me the first times because I wasn't sure if the "new" floor was safe. I would have kept the levels with one unique style each.
  • When "rewinding" against a wall, I would have loved a small animation letting me know the movement had "failed".

That's about it. Good job on your game, I really enjoyed it.

Nitpick away! These sort of comments are always helpful.

The lack of a menu was down to time, but it seems to be a heavily requested feature so I'm going to work on it for post-jam.

The different styles of floor has also been mentioned by a few people. I originally wanted to have different level "groups" each with its own floor tile set, but doing that with 10 levels seemed a bit pointless so I just chucked them all in. I'll probably still split them up as planned, however I'll need to come up with some alternate system of highlighting paths I want the user to pick up on.

No fail animation was another time thing, I originally wanted some sort of effect that would play when a rewinded move occured, with a variant for blocked movments, but I didn't consider it essential for the jam.
