Thanks, glad you liked it! I've heard the death feedback a lot, apparently the flashing wasn't good enough so I'll be sure to update that :D... When it comes to the 1 hit I was trying to replicate the challenge from the original Mario brothers game so I'm still weary about changing it 🤷♂️ and yeah the rewind mechanic is practically useless which is why I threw in the boss battle at the end that required it... Could definitely have done better there though, and the movement is faster in the more up to date version on newgrounds in the description, you were definitely right with that suggestion, it really does make the game feel better when it's going faster!
