The art style is cute and simple and ties in really well with the sound design. The game "feel" is really good as well, with all the sound and visual feedback you've implemented. But I did feel like it is hard to get to 20 coins (I didn't really get higher than 12, I must have missed something?), and it seems like all 3 characters share the same health which I don't feel is intuitive.

Also, really good use of time which I don't see much in jam games, but bed time interrupted me way too much! I wonder if it might be better to have some benefit to bed time such as regenerating some health, or maybe slowing time down so it isn't so frequent. I also found that jumping and hitting the ceiling (with the mother) makes the character stuck there for a few moments.

Overall, I had fun, and I'm particularly impressed by the way the game feels to play :)

I too could only get 12 coins

Glad you enjoyed it an liked the game feel. For the 12 coins thing, there is more to the left of the world once you get past the Knight.

You probably missed using the child to dash past them, which may have been very unintiutive my bad.

I completely agree with your feedback, the reason why I implemented a bed time system was due to the issues with my time system.  I agree the player should be able to choose to go to bed and get rewarded for that. Yeah the health mechanic was also a bit broken as well.

I worked out dashing past the knight but I must have missed something else entirely as I thought I'd collected all the coins possible. I shall have another go!
