I don't get it .. how do I use the spells? It places an orb but it doesn't do anything.. it doesn't heal the wizard and doesn't harm enemies? Also restarting only respawns the player/wizard but doesn't reset anything.
Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for the late reply. The wizard will cast a spell if there in an enemy on his screen and he steps over a spell circle. Make sure that you move off of the spell circle yourself since you can block the spells also. Restarting resets the waves and your health and mana, but does not change your position in the map.
