I played the game and I love the idea and the gameplay. I like the idea where you're an evil spirit that ruins people's livelihood and then sacrifice them after breaking their spirit. Also, the pacing is good. The game teaches the player how to play it and introduces new mechanics in an easily comprehensible manner

With that said, I hit a dead end with my playthrough. So, I've made it to where I unlocked the "Spirit bolt" ability and I'm pretty sure I killed everyone in the village.

The only people left are the monks in the monastery and a dude sitting by a campfire with an axe next to him. I cast "Explode Fire" on the guy's campfire and it did burn, but the guy is still not "corruptible" for some reason. I tried every spell I had with him but nothing. Idk if it's a bug or if I missed something, but if I did, I can't find it

I also tried going for the monks but they have some defense ability against my bolt attacks, so I feel that I need to deal with the axe guy first before dealing with them

Anyway, I didn't encounter any bugs (except that one I just described, which I'm not sure if it's a bug in the first place). I see potential in the game but it's a shame I wasn't able to finish it

btw I played on the HTML version. I'll try the windows version and if there's a change in the experience, I'll mention that in a future comment

Cheers

So, I played the Windows version and it seems there's a bug with axe guy

Hope this help...

Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you liked what played! Sorry for the errors encountered.

The main objective is to destroy the amulet in the monastery, but you will likely have to kill all the monks to do this. This is a little easier if you engage them one on one.

I wanted to shift from a slightly fun + very easy puzzle to more combat at the end, so I get why you'd be confused. I would have liked to make that shift a little easier to understand, but I didn't want to just tell the player what to do. Also the difficulty spikes there pretty hard, which I'd like to fix. I initially planned simpler enemies, but didn't have time to implement them.

Thanks for picking up the bug with the last axe guy - he's a bit bugged at the moment, hence the error. You don't need to interact with him to advance the story. I'll make it a priority to fix him when the jam is over.
