The writing in this game is magical. This chapter was such a treat. I must admit to wiping a tear away. It's wonderful that there are some moments of genuine sweetness and romance too. I love a dark and dramatic tale as much as the next weirdo but I've noticed a lot of interactive fiction leaning into pretty unrelenting, dour sadness lately so the nuance here is a breath of fresh air right now!
