Really great concept and super fun game!
one of the things that stood out to me was the outline you used in your text. The vector outline kind of ruined the retro pixel vibe you had going. I think i would have made the text flat or drawn the text by hand to give it that more Gameboy feeling.
Sound. You had really good sound but i think you should consider limiting how much audio is played depending how may bees are spawned. If you spawn a ton of bees, consider only doing 3 or 4 audio ques instead of one for each instance. I had to turn the volume down which was a bit sad cause otherwise was pretty good.
