I don't really understand why itch doesnt allow kids to make accounts I started progamming when i was 8 and had to wait 5 years to make a account in itch

There are complicated laws in the US to protect collecting information from children under the age of 13 online, so most companies avoid difficulties (and protect their company) by not allowing them to have an account.
