I'm not even going to share my embarrassing final score, but I did finish it.  This was really good. You really balanced the tension between enjoyable and challenging. I did not want to stop until I completed the game. Two pieces of feedback:

1. I would probably not start the timer until the player has pressed spacebar. I didn't realize until later that there was a different button to pause the game, so it would've been nice to allow the beginning of the level to take a breather.

2. Something about the left/right movement is a little off. It's like the character stays in the left/right position a bit too long or something. I don't know if I've quite put my finger on it, but there were definitely times that I thought I was out of the way of an obstacle, but I still got hit. It could also have been because I was bad at the game, but figured I'd bring it up just in case.

All-in-all, a very enjoyable game. Great job.

thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback! for the timer, you are absolutely right, i guess i didn’t really notice it when i play tested so definitely should fix that, for the movement, what i think you’re seeing is i have the camera “stay behind” a bit, and when you stop the camera quickly catches up. i did this cause i thought it looked kinda ugly without it, however, if it’s causing gameplay problems i’ll address that as well

Obviously, take all feedback with a grain of salt and figure out what works best for your game. You did a great job.
