The wheelchair reminds me of the wheelchair guy from Happy Wheels. I really enjoy the color scheme and the parallaxing background, and I thought that the subtle readlines scrolling through the screen was a nice addition :) However, I couldn't really figure out how to go faster -- I just tried pressing W a lot but the CPUs kept overtaking me. I like the dithering effect on the sprites, but it made the start screen quite hard to read. There was definitely a lot of polish on how the start screen looks, but it was a little difficult to understand what each element on the screen means. Maybe grouping things up in different panels and separating each panel from one another could help distinct the controls from the setup.

Thanks for the articulate comment. Unfortunately the initial menu was the last item added and was rushed due to the impending dead line. As for the speed of the sprite, the key must be pressed when the animation returns to the initial frame. As the speed of the sprite increases, the speed of the animation also increases and therefore the frequency of pressing the key can be accelerated. Thanks for playing and for the ttips :)
