Catalina 10.15.6 - Managed to reproduce this during Duel with Hubert - during the SFX playback for the "Jerk Off" hitting space did cause the SFX to continue to play until the game was quit.
By the way, if you keep pressing space quickly right after click on jerk-off, the enemy meter will keep increasing (the sfx loop will go crazy) and you can insta-finish him. This is sort of a cheat... :)
