You can also try to uninstall any previous version or Demo before trying to install it. Just remember to use the cloud save first, or you'll lose your savefiles.
Yeah, if you have no active quest, or haven't recover a quest item for an active quest, that's normal. When you complete a quest, like Barto's, you lose the items that were in the quest panel in inventory.
All items and resources are transfered. weither they are in you chest or backpack. You keep your skills, underwears and sniffets, but you are still able to collect them again. But you lose your strip lucky cards.
