I may consider making a smaller app just to generate gifs.
You should be able to do 2X on mode 4 and then just replace the interpolated_frames folder with the original_frames folder before pressing "Step 3"
this doesn't work since DAIN looks for the missing half of the frames. Since 2x interpolation is double the framecount.
