Should I start publicizing my entry now, or wait until the 30th?
(It's visible on zarf.itch.io, although maybe nobody will notice that in the next week.)
You can submit your entry now, if you want. You have until September 30th to review or modify it. ;)
I've submitted it. But should I start blogging and tweeting and inviting people to play it?
The list of submitted games will not be visible until the beginning of the voting phase, so you can certainly publicize your game but I ask you the courtesy not to do so in this community before that date.
I would say go for it, you made and and should be proud of that achievement why not share it.
