This was a fun game! I actually stuck it out all the way through and got all 42 life gems. I thought it was really cool that at every altar where you got a new ability there were multiple ways to go depending on which upgrades you had gotten at that point. I thought I might get lost in the big map but navigating around it really wasn't too bad at all. There were just a few little things I'd like to see tightened up. I think right now the character is holding the boomerang a little far away from his body. It made throwing it a little wonky sometimes because you would be holding it in a wall even though you weren't that close to it. There was also a part where I almost softlocked myself out of getting a gem, at the part where it's in a little narrow tunnel where you can't quite reach and there's a purple switch above it. I think I maybe hit the switch to early or something and it spawned a box so I couldn't hit the gem with my boomerang. from the ledge on the other side. It took several minutes of me jumping into the wall and throwing it at different angles before I finally got lucky and hit it. Other than those two things though, I thought it was really fun and atmospheric! The character controller felt really great to move and throw the boomerang, especially after you got the running boots. Good job!

Wow! Didn't think anyone would actually collect all the gems but you did, just wow. I did that soft lock in purpose but thinking about it again, it was a mistake as you don't know where the box appears... If I ever return to this game, I'll be sure to bring the boomerang closer to the player.
Thanks for the nice feedback, made my morning :)
