Cool shoot-em up game. I really love the art-style. Reminds me of the Kurzgesagt youtube channels style. For me personally the bullet-hell aspects were a bit too extreme. It didn't feel very skill heavy to hit the enemies, there were just too many and their movement was too jerky for me. I ended up just trying to race from astroid-field to astroid-field and hope to get some missiles and shields (if I didn't make it, there was practically no way to finish the enemies). I love that my shots hone in on the enemy, with them being so many, I wonder if they need that feature though. Also having some  indication as to how damaged the opponents are would be great.

Here is what I would try in terms of gameplay and see how that feels:

  • Fewer opponents so things get a bit more clear and you can feel good about actually dodging their bullets and hitting them. (Now it feels more like luck when there are many of them)
  • Same number of opponents but making them much easier to kill. Now I needed to hit them so often, it wasn't really possible for me to focus any one of them down, before there were just a hand full left.

All in all a really nice entry though. Props to you!
