You asked for this. lol.

The game is so close to being great it hurts.
The bones are there, the execution just isn't right.

So here goes:
-Your characters colors blend in with the background so it's easy to get lost on screen.
-When you walk under the barrage of spell effects you can't see yourself, so you can't effectively control your character.
-The camera should be following your character, with a slight pull in the direction your mouse is pointing. Again, because it'll help players keep track of where they are on the map.
-Slow everything down. lol. I ran in to enemies a dozen times because I was just going a lot faster than I was able to control. Bullets and enemies too, it's all going by so fast that it's easy to die just because you didn't have the time to react to all the enemies and effects on screen.
-The circle attack from those mushroom enemies should be solid and transparent, not a single pixel wide ring. Again, so the player can see and work around it. If we can't see it, it's unfair and unfun.
-The game needs juice! When you kill an enemy something should happen, the screen shake a little, a noise, something.
-Those attack sound effects were clearly meant to be used one at a time, not in rapid succession the way they're set up now.

All in all,
I really liked the core of the game. The randomized upgrades each level are fun. The variety of abilities is great. And it's literally just a bunch of tiny tweaks to make the game more of an awesome experience.
