This is one of my favorite games that I've made, it can be pretty brutal with the rng, but I think that fits the post apocalyptic theme. 😅
Thanks for playing. 👍

I've seen rate for rate spamming ruin the scoring of jams in the past, and I'd like to see a fair and honest jam here.
It's alright to ask someone to play your game if you've played, rated, and gave feedback to their game. But blanket "rate for rate" callouts can really mess with ratings as people try to collect as many ratings as they can without playing/having their own game played.
If I find people posting blanket "rate for rate" posts here, they will be removed. If I find too much of that happening, the community tab will be removed entirely.
Keep trying to upload to gd.games, you need that in order to be considered for the prizes.
But you can upload to gd.games after the submission date, just make sure your itch version is uploaded and submitted to the jam before the end of the time limit, and you can get the gd.games version working up to a few days after the end of the jam.
1. If your team members join the jam, it'll make the jam look more impressive by having a bigger number of people joined. 😉
2. Yes, to properly give out prizes and rewards to team members they should be added as admins to your game project on itch and as authors on gd.games. You can add admins on itch and change the authors of a game on gd.games after the submission deadline, but having them added will help us when giving out prizes/crediting creators.
The results from the jam will be released on Friday, along with the favorite games from the judges.
The video will be released on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8RsU74-hU1pfNKHNMfiFfw
AI itself isn't explicitly banned for this jam, but you of course must have the legal right to use all of the assets in your game, which means that AI tools trained on the wide open internet without the permission of the artists that it learned from are not allowed to be used. So the answer is "it depends" on how the AI tool you're using was trained. 😅
I hope that helps.
