The assets in itself weren’t the problem. It is the divide between the quality of the assets used and the skill of the person using them that makes them stand out like a sore thumb. And I sincerely hope that that was not what you were talking about, when you said you were sorry. At no point did I want to paint developers using other artists’ assets as a bad thing. (On the contrary!)
I am sorry for getting the whole being a minor narrative wrong. I thought that sentence was meant as a weak insult towards me.
Please don’t tell us if you didn’t so far, but you (and your partner/sibling) are supposed to talk to your legal guardians about publishing that game. (At a certain point, there will be income taxes, there are also laws protecting minors from doing “child labor”, etc. It’s not just in the itch rules, this touches international laws.) If you already did that then I apologize for wasting your time with that remark.
Lastly, I think it’s better for both of us if I don’t look at any of your projects for now, so both of us can gain some emotional distance from what hopefully will soon become a long forgotten past.
