I was in the mood for a nice chocolate cake and this game provided in spades.
The gameplay is wonky, with everything coming along sushi belt style, and you controlling a crane. While original, this made it somewhat frustrating to sate my hunger for chocolate cake. The goal seemed to be to place these ingredients into the bowls, and then place the bowls on the oven, then place the cakes on the conveyor belt for points.
In practice, you could simply place empty bowls in the oven and have instant cake. Following the recipes labeled on the bowls would yield a nice chocolate pudding, but otherwise did not seem to impact the outward appearance of cakes much.
I had more fun displaying my creations in front of the poor chef rather than sending them down the line, ostensibly to be devoured by paying customers. Why should they have my cakes? I worked for them, damn it!
Also it was kinda fun to put a lot of flour on the oven and pretend cheffy there was doing lines.
A fun time. Very original.
