Hello I love the game so much! I have a quick question though. I'm playing the newest version and I only have the books to level up mining, strength, and sex. Are the other skill books somewhere else now? Or did i mess up at character creation?

You can get skill books in random chest drops, also an NPC appears on the second floor of the brothel on the in game day of Saturday that sells some skill books.

Xaelus pretty much answered this question fully. I would just add that you can also enslave male travelers and donate them to Goblin Households, then some of them will be able to teach skills for a price.

Aria in the Alchemy store can also teach you Alchemy.

In the Citrine Crags. To get there exit the goblin village to Emerald Road East and go west to Garnet Weald, then go north to Amber Wilds, and North again to Citrine Crags.

so when I try to follow your directions it says the area has not been implemented yet but I'm playing the most recent version

In Amber Wilds, you have to go to the North exit at the top right side of the map, up the stairs and along the River, not to the top left.

sorry for the late reply just downloaded the newest update and seems like that area still says not implemented yet for me even tho i went up to the stairs by the river. I'm going to create a new save and see if it'll fix itself

edit: I created a new save and it still does not work.

Hmm... this is the right place at least. I updated the game files last night with some bug fixes so all I can suggest is redownloading it.

What size is the game file when you click to download it? Because it should be 642Mb.

Also, when you started it up with your old saves, did an update window pop up saying "Your Game Updated to 0.1.6b, here is what's new in it..." or something like that?

Ooo... I didn't know you could learn skills from house slaves... I donated a priest and he still sells some items. I like his text if you give him to the brothel though.

Not all of them have skills they can teach, but some do!

You should make a way to release slaves, so you can swap them out easily. I screwed up and put 3 thieves in the brothel, when I finally captured a mage it was full. Is the current limit 5 in brothel and 5 in houses (if you donate a slave to Saffron instead of fathering a child yourself)?

It's something I'm considering, but don't really think it will happen any time soon. The Brothel should be able to house 6, or 5 if you got Furo in there and didn't save him. You can release slaves which you have in your inventory though. Also, slaves in the brothel are mostly an aesthetic thing, they don't have any other functions aside from getting Goblins pregnant. Only House slaves are able to teach skills, ect.
