There's a million eroge VNs with male MCs, more probably come out in the average year than you'd be able to play in a lifetime, yet only a comparative handful of ones where it's exclusively Lesbian/Girl x Girl romance exist. So why are you trying to shoehorn that shit into this yuri vn?
Your lot are well catered for, so why are you complaining? you have a wealth of options, yuri fans do not. Also, I'm fairly certain it's mostly men who play yuri VNs too (whether they be smutty or not), so clearly guys have no issue self-inserting in some way when it's a female MC.
