Thanks for the warning my goodness I get scared pretty easily lol, for the comments and the description I didn't think the game has any kind of jumpscare but there are some moments... Well better to not let the guard down.

I wont spoil it, Ill just say that when Chase, Jenna, and Leo are together in the hotel room alone, something happens. Its not a jumpscare, its not flashing or loud or anything like that. Something comes on the screen, and its not sudden or even really startling. But it is genuinely one of the most disturbing things despite how simple it is. Actual proper horror, not cheap hollywood yelling BOO and making you jump type stuff.

I got it and I am really hyped for this part now, it's a great kind of horror, it's something made to mess with your psychological you know let you with affliction of what's going on what's going to happen, it's really difficult to do it and this game does that a lot better than those hollywood movies as you said, in the cellphone ringing part I was already like omg something will already happen and the route hasn't even started properly lmao, best horror ever.

If you want "real" horror in a furry VN, download and install the game Second Chance, find a specific scene... and die unhappily afterwards. Well, no, but I compared it to A Serbian Film, the truest horror there is. Echo is almost mild, if you were to put the two against each other, no joke.

#Don'tEverWatchThatShit! (I haven't and I won't)

The rest of the game is really great however...

Kkkkk thanks for the warning, I'll search a bit about it, I have been playing other VN from the same creators of Echo and omg all of their histories involve you so much emotionally they are pros at it, and it's pretty common the protagonist kicks a guy on that part in their histories lol it's almost a meme

I know and hope The Smoke Room will have proper romance, like Adastra (+Khemia). So, please don't let your comment become reality!

"Omg if the spirit that talks with Chase is who I think it is then The Smoke Room won't have a good ending as well :P"

With "don't ever watch" I meant A Serbian Film, not sure if you got that.  It's just, no other horror series, movie, and maybe game has reached this level of darkness. Here's the most upvoted review on IMDb:

So the fact I compare Second Chance with this abomination should say a lot... ^

ohhhh I'm sorry I didn't notice it was the name of the movie lol now I got it but yeahh it's horrible Chase deserved this comparison

let's cross our paws it will be a happy ending, my original choice was to tell William the truth straight away at least for that part I hope it ends well so excited for an update

I just finished Adastra and I loved I can't wait to start Khemia (I actually started Khemia first but as I noticed it was too confusing later on I saw that Adastra was supposed to be played first lol I was lucky I didn't get a serious spoiler)

What comparison?

There's a bit more content after you tell him what happend. William btw. believes Samuel and wants to support him/back him up. I need to play the latest public update soon...

Also, I have a question. Isn't Naoky the one Youtuber who does let's plays on these kind of games?

I still like Tennis Ace and Password (Tyson) more than Adastra. I don't know why really. I've got spoilered that they marry in Adastra, the first time it happened in a VN.

The comparison you made between Chase and this horror movie it wasn't?

Yeahh I played all the routes until receive the to be continued message I guess that's the route where less paranormal things happens right? Because if you make the fox route in the end of the update they have a conversation that my goodness...

To be honest I don't remember exactly where this name came from lol I guess it was from a game probably other VN but I can't tell you accurately... Also I have been playing one called Far Beyound The World, it remembers Adastra in some aspects like each species lives in its own tribe, one for Wolves, other for Tigers you know? I won't spoil in case you are interested to play but we end up being found by the wolves one and in case you don't feel comfortable with scenes like the fight between Amicus and Cato at the end then be careful, but I assure you it's not a big deal like that event, I felt really bad back there lol, but in FBTW I don't think it will have any problem.

I know of and played Far Beyond the World. I like it a lot, but the MC is ANNOYING. Pervader however is probably going to be my all time favorite gay furry VN. Hero's Advent is another very good read, I can recommend it without second thoughts.

Where does your second paragraph correlate? What fox?

There's not a ton that makes me completely uncomfortable in the horror world, I just don't really wanna see it, because I can't exactly see the point. It is the same with emotional stuff, like for example the destroyed relationships in Echo. There's a German book series I read called Anders (=different), and everyone dies kind of horribly in the end. Besides this it was a phenomenal read. I liked the characters, so their demise left an impression.

*it resembles not remembers Adastra, and yes I can clearly see the similarities.
