Yes GraceHowell you are absolutely right. Although I was determined to get it done, I should’ve spent more time on my twine as a whole (questions, adding images etc.) rather than focusing all on the questions, because if anything it looks like rubbish. After all I could’ve just made it unfinished, but have images and all that on some of the topics to make it look less bland and boring.

The game was rushed, but it could’ve been more polished (like what you said) if I spent more time on it. Yes my teacher told me and the other students in my class to join this jam even though there was 5 days left, so to me the pressure was on. I was in hell when I was trying to add images (because I followed the guide but, it didn’t work) but that’s beside the point. If anything , I should’ve focused a bit more on the quality side...and double check my questions if they make sense.

Wait, this was a class assignment?  Damn, I wish I'd had assignments like this when I'd been at school.

You have all the time in the world to fix things, of course, and at least you submitted it in time.  I think the only problem I had when it came to reading was the passages where we end up being eaten, because the text colour over the background colour made it harder to read.  And the text was kind of small.  But they're all easily fixable.

I also keep forgetting that while I'm unemployed and job-hunting, I have the time to work on this stuff, and it's all for fun, for me.  There are books on Twine if you're interested in learning more.  My personal favourite is 'Writing Interactive Fiction with Twine' by Melissa Ford.  It teaches you how to make things using both Harlowe and Sugarcube story formats, and it's incredibly comprehensive.  It also teaches about how to craft stories along the way.  It was incredibly easy to follow.  I took many notes from it.  So yeah; if you can get hold of an ebook version of it, or a hard copy, you'll find it very useful.  Of course, the documentation online is free, and the Twine subreddit is full of knowledgeable people.  But then you might not play with Twine again.  It's up to you.  I hope doing a rush job for class won't put you off the program, or game jams in general.

I may not read it immediately, but when the time comes (if I had to do a twine project again) I’ll keep this in mind. Thanks for both the feedback and the books you told me about. :). I’ll fix the errors that are in my twine game (re-sizing and correcting the answers). Although there may not be a point in doing this (because it’s for a game jam) I think we can all agree that it’s important to make a game polished, whether it’s big or small.

So then again, thanks for all this :) this is actually my first game to get comments on.
Plus I’m sure you’ll get a job in no time 🙂👍
